EU-Asia/China “Thematic Cluster Virtual Open House 2020”

The IUC Asia project will stage an Open House event to showcase activities implemented within the thematic clusters. The target audience consists of stakeholders interested in the city-to-city cooperation between European and Chinese counterparts.

When? Wednesday, 18th of November, 8:30-12:00 (CET)

Where? Zoom

The project team and involved partners will showcase selected pilot projects between Chinese, and European cities within the thematic clusters of “Smart Cities & Digital Transition” and “Education, Culture & Tourism”, including the topics of “Circular Economy” and “Energy Transition”.

IUC cluster managers will co-host the thematic sessions with the IUC experts in China. Each session will consist of a five-minute thematic cluster introduction, followed by a 10-minute presentation of each selected pilot project activity. The pilot project presentations are foreseen as a joint presentation of one representative each from Europe and China, followed by five minutes for questions and answers.

The project team will also introduce the digital cooperation platform. Simultaneous interpretation EN/CN will be provided.

The event will also present the results of the EU-China Regional Innovation Study 2020.
